Wireless Access points and Routers make it easy to get your wireless-ready PCs on the air. Here's how.

The Wireless Access Point

If you have an existing home or office network, and one your computers it too far from the network router to conveniently attach it by cable, you can add wireless capability to your network simply by adding a NetComm NB5400 Wireless Access Point. This will connect to any network hub, switch or router by simple network cable, and is easy to configure via the included GUI software tools:

The Wireless Modem Router

If you're starting a network from scratch and are connecting to broadband ADSL, you can't go past a NetComm NB5880W. This will support anything from a couple of computers, up to hundreds of users.

The NB5580 is three devices in one:

  • ADSL modem
  • Router able to direct Internet traffic and email for up to 254 users
  • Wireless access point for multiple users

The Wireless Router

If you already have an ADSL or Cable internet service, you can add wireless routing with a NetComm NB5540. This is a fully-featured router with 802.11g wireless capability and many advanced configuration options. It allows you to specify which services are available to users, and to control Internet access PC-by-PC.

Wireless Network Gaming

It's a cinch to connect your gaming console to a wireless network, simply by attaching it to an NP5410 Wireless Ethernet Bridge. This device, which is driverless, can also be used to connect other devices such as cameras and printers...in fact anything with an Ethernet interface.
